Type locality of Diplecogaster ctenocrypta, ZMUC P9037, off La Luz, Gran Canaria I., Canary Is., 90 fms. Known only from the holotype taken with the alga Hildenbrantia with a Sigsbee trawl (Ref. 106378). Also Ref. 128876.
